§1 · EligibilityYou must be 18 or over.
Not 13, not 16. If we learn an inbox belongs to someone under 18 we close it and delete the messages, and a report that a minor is involved is the highest priority category we operate.
Exact wording
“You may use the service only if you are 18 years of age or older. By claiming a link or sending a message you confirm that you are. We may terminate any account we reasonably believe is held by a person under 18 and delete its contents without notice.”
§2 · ConductWhat you may not send.
Harassment, threats of violence, sexual content involving a minor, sexual content sent to someone who did not ask for it, encouragement of self-harm, personal information about someone who did not publish it, impersonation, and spam. Enforcement lands on the person, not the message.
Exact wording
“You must not use the service to harass, threaten, dox, impersonate, defraud, to encourage self-harm, or to send sexual content involving a minor. We may remove content, refuse delivery, and terminate access across all inboxes for breaches of this section.”
§3 · AnonymityAnonymous to the person receiving it.
That is the promise, in the scope we can actually keep: a recipient never sees anything identifying about a sender, at any tier. We hold the connection data described on the privacy page, and your own words can identify you if you include something only you would know.
Exact wording
“Messages are anonymous to their recipient. The service does not disclose a sender’s identity, network address or device information to a recipient under any plan. The service retains the data described in the privacy notice. We make no representation that content you write cannot identify you.”
§4 · Your linkA lapsed link is held for 90 days.
If an account lapses we do not release the handle to somebody else. It is held, because a bio still points at it and a stranger inheriting that address is the worst thing that can happen to you here. We may also refuse or reclaim a name that impersonates someone, infringes a trade mark, or is chosen to mislead.
Exact wording
“On expiry or cancellation your handle is reserved for 90 days, during which it cannot be claimed by another user. Custom domains stop resolving on expiry. Handles unclaimed after the reservation period may be released.”
§5 · Reading is freeWe never charge you to open a message.
Paid tiers buy replying, card themes, longer retention and analytics. If a paid period ends, replying locks and everything you already received stays readable, in place, including messages older than the shorter retention window.
Exact wording
“Access to received messages is not a paid feature. Content retained under a paid plan that exceeds the limits of a lower plan remains accessible on a read-only basis and is not deleted as a consequence of downgrade.”
§6 · MoneyRenewals, cancelling, and refunds.
Paid periods are billed in INR unless we agree otherwise, and access is derived from the dates on your account rather than a status somebody sets by hand. A late payment gets 7 days of grace before features drop. Ask about a refund at support@sailwynd.com; we would rather fix a problem than keep money for something that did not work.
Exact wording
“Subscriptions renew at the then-current price until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. A grace period of 7 days applies after a failed or late payment, after which the account moves to a read-only tier. Refunds for incorrect charges are made within 14 days of a valid request.”
§7 · EnforcementWe can hold, refuse and suspend.
We can hold a message, refuse delivery, or suspend an account for a breach of §2. Where we do, we say why — unless saying why would help someone evade a block that is protecting somebody else. A suspended account is read-only, not erased.
Exact wording
“We may withhold, refuse or remove content and suspend or terminate accounts where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached. We will state a reason except where doing so would prejudice the safety of another user or the integrity of an enforcement measure.”
§8 · ChangesNotice before anything that matters changes.
If these terms change in a way that affects you, we say so in the product before the change takes effect, and the previous version stays published. Changes needed to protect people take effect immediately, and we say so when they do.
Exact wording
“We will give notice in the product of material changes to these terms before they take effect, save for changes required to address a risk to user safety or to comply with law, which take effect on publication.”
